A Note from Blaine
Welcome
to CCC Confer! It's all about free new tools for meeting, teaching,
collaborating, sharing applications and video, and making ourselves more
accessible to colleagues and constituents.
These tools are changing how people, including our students, interact with the world. Office hours can be held anytime and from anywhere.
Lectures can be accessed without the need to travel. Groups and organizations can meet and conduct business without a carbon footprint.
Conferences and Webinars can be run from your kitchen table. With
Plan and
Publish, we can share and edit our lesson plans and make captured
sessions portable and easier for others to use.
If you care about the future of teaching, learning, and collaborating, CCC Confer is for you. I hope that you'll find the possibilities
exciting and that you'll share your experiences with the rest of us. I believe that you have the key to new solutions that can improve
CCC Confer and improve education in the California Community Colleges. Together, we can do many things that will make a real difference.
